ROCCONancy Lee Rocco, age 84 of Aston passed away peacefully at Taylor Hospice on October 11, 2018. Born in Chester, PA, Nancy was predeceased by her brothers, Dr. Joseph Rodgers and Ronald Anthony Rodgers, and her sister, Dolores Rodgers. Nancy was a child prodigy, a musician & performer who began her entertainment career before age 12. She played piano & sang, performing throughout the country, both as a member of a jazz band and later as a solo act. While doing so she also obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1968 and a Master’s Degree in Psychology in 1975, both from West Chester University. Despite her busy performing schedule she also taught junior and senior high school in the Chester School District. Nancy ended her performing career in 1996 and obtained a paralegal certification. Nancy worked the remainder of her professional life in both the public & private sector as a paralegal in Delaware County. She retired in 2017. Survivors: Loving mother of Alfred J. Rocco and Victor J. Rocco. Also survived by her grandchildren, nieces & nephews, and great nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
