Nancy Meyer, 73, of Ottawa, passed away early Tuesday morning, November 30, 2010 at her home with her family by her side.
Nancy was born October 29, 1937 in Centralia, IL to Arthur S. and Edith (McClain) Porter M.D. She married Charles Franklin Meyer on June 7, 1965 in Mt. Vernon, IL; he died March 16, 1988. She worked as a CNA at various nursing homes in Streator.
Nancy was a member of Eastern Star. Nancy was one of a kind, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by one son, Gary Meyer, of Ottawa, one daughter, Demova Meyer, of Ottawa, 4 grandchildren; Christopher Webster, Joshua Webster, Kayla Price and Jamie Price, and 3 great grandchildren; Austin and Blossom Webster and Cameron McClellan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
