Nancy L. Stolp, age 86, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Arborwood Lodge in Wisconsin Rapids.

Nancy was born on March 20, 1936 in Wisconsin Rapids to Leonard and Dorothy (Whitrock) Ashenberg. She married Charles Stolp Jr. on September 11, 1954 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. They were blessed with 63 years of marriage until his passing on May 18, 2017.

Nancy was an active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church for over 68 years.

Nancy was a wonderful homemaker and mother and cherished spending time with her family. Her children and grandchildren were blessed to have such a loving mom and grandma.  She enjoyed cooking, baking and hosting holiday parties for her lady friends and family.  She liked to go shopping and volunteering as a ballot clerk for the town of Grand Rapids for many years. She also enjoyed decorating and collecting primitive antiques that you can find through out her home.

Nancy is survived by her four children: Larry (Deb) Stolp of Victoria, Texas, Terri (Paul) Miller and Debra Stolp of Wisconsin Rapids, and Michael Stolp of Bailey, Colorado; granddaughter, Raquel Ann “Rocky” ( boyfriend Jeremy) of Wisconsin Rapids; sister: Pat (Ken) Snyder; godson Todd Snyder; and special friend Earl Ziegler. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Dorothy and loving husband Charles.

The family would like to thank the staff of Arborwood Lodge and Compassus Hospice for their care. They would also like to personally thank Brittani, Elizabeth and Deb for their exceptional care and compassion that was expressed in caring for Nancy.
