Nancy L. Johnson, age 78 of Midland, died Saturday afternoon, September 8, 2012, at her residence.
The daughter of the late A.D. and Coral (Amidon) Ordiway was born in Durand, Michigan on February 21, 1934. Nancy enjoyed bowling, square dancing, round dancing, crocheting, and camping.
Surviving is her husband of 57 years, Ray Johnson of whom she married on November 13, 1954, in Angola, Indiana; sons, Ray “Guy” (Terri Jo) Johnson, Lonnie (Nancy Jo) Johnson, Rex “Willie” Johnson all of Midland; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sibling, Bill (Liz) Ordiway of Alger, Michigan, Jim (Jean) Ordiway of Pinconning, Frank (Pauline) Ordiway, Ruth (Jerry) Johnston all of Midland, Dean (CeCe) Ordiway of Defuniak Springs, Fl., Carl (Barb) Ordiway of Sanford; many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Gary L. Johnson, and grandson, Tyler Johnson.
