PLEASANT VALLEY – Nancy L. Heacox, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 24, 2019 with her loving husband and cat, Baby Girl by her side. She was the devoted wife of Richard F. Heacox for 49 years this May. Born February 15, 1950 in Vermont; the daughter of the late Howard Chamberlain and Albina Roberts and her stepdad, Glenn Roberts. She was employed by Ovation for 19 ½ years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cooking. She also enjoyed scratch tickets, dinners at Sophia’s and keeping in touch with everyone she loved by calls and texts. Nancy loved cruises, watching HGTV and Hallmark, and was an avid Red Sox and UCONN Women’s Basketball fan. She also loved cats taking in many strays over the years. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her cherished children, Ritchie Heacox and wife Jen of AZ and Tina Stalker and husband Glennon of ME; beloved grandchildren, Sierra Stalker and Christian Stalker, both of ME; siblings, Dorothy Fournier, Linda Moore and husband Roger, Dora Reese and husband Mike, Sandra Kelley, David Chamberlain and wife Martha, John Chamberlain and wife Janet and Paul Chamberlain and wife Rachel; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters, Lucille Burdick, Marie Lambert, Carol Marston, Annette Coon and Joan Brewer. Friends may call on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 5 Steele Road, New Hartford from 2 – 4 PM with a funeral service at 4 PM.
