Nancy L. Prewette Hartle, 66, Anderson, passed away quietly in her sleep at her home on March 28, 2012.
She was born January 15, 1946 in Linton, Indiana, and resided in Anderson most of her life. She was a 1964 graduate of Highland High School. She retired from Guide Division of General Motors Security and Anderson Fur Company where she played Wonder Woman. Nancy was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of Crawford County Chamber of Commerce and Southern Indiana Visitor’s Guide. She was beloved by many.
She is survived by her two children, Charles Thomas Bond II of Anderson and Ward Anthony Bond Darlene of Alexandria and their father, Charles T. Bond of Anderson; former husband, Melvin Rick Hartle; step-children, Krista Winters, Jessica Hartle, Matt Hartle, Darla Fisher, Debbie Fisher, Deidre Fisher and Rhonda Fisher; siblings, Douglas F. Prewette and Susann A. Cloud Dexter; one grandchild, Ashley Johnson; one great grandchild, Gavin A. Wages; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Fisher; father, Willard A. Prewette; mother, Ruth Alice Gwinn Prewette; and half sister, Ruth A. Bland.
