BLAMER, Nancy L., age 77, passed away Sunday evening, June 8, 2014, at Rose Arbor Hospice Residence in Kalamazoo. She was born on October 23, 1936 in Muskegon, MI a daughter of Leonard and Irene Westerlund Lindback.
Nancy graduated from Western Michigan University and was employed for many years as a graphic artist and advertising manager for Gilmore Brothers Department Store. She was an extremely talented and creative artist and had a high appreciation for art. Nancy was also an accomplished quilt maker. On October 1, 1955, Nancy married Gary D.
Blamer who preceded her in death on June 21, 2012. Nancy was also preceded in death by a son, Mark; her parents; two brothers, Chuck and Jim Lindback; and two sisters, Peggy and Babs Lindback.
Surviving are: three children, Eric Lynne Blamer of Bangor, Lisa Lindback of Phoenix, AZ, and Todd Diane Blamer of Kalamazoo; four grandchildren, Andrew, Kristen, Erika, and Aaron; and three great-grandchildren, Riley, Johnny, and Jacob. Cremation has taken place.
