Nancy June Cope, 80, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on October 3, 2019, in Indianapolis.
Nancy was born on June 18, 1939, to the late Ernest “Ernie” Dickmeyer and Virginia Marr Dickmeyer Carter.
Nancy loved the Lord, singing gospel songs and doing jigsaw puzzles. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be loved and missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Delmas Carter, Roger Dale Carter; grandchild, Joshua Hawkins; great-grandchild, Bryce Bland and half brothers, Thomas Dickmeyer and Edward Dickmeyer
Nancy is survived by her children, Virginia Gail Smith of Indianapolis, Carol (Jim) Hawkins of Indianapolis, David Clay (Terrie) Cope of Greenwood, Brenda (Allen) Bland of Greenwood, Kole Allen Cope of Greenwood; sister, Sue (John) Ousley of Sharps Chapel, TN.; half-sister, Lue (Ron) Jones of Indianapolis; half-brother, Danny (Cathy) Carter of Franklin, other half brothers, Ernie Dickmeyer and Daniel Dickmeyer and half-sisters, Luella Dickmeyer Jones, Mary Dickmeyer, Kathy Dickmeyer Roush and Dixie Dickmeyer, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
