Nancy J. SmithMarch 29, 1937 – October 7, 2023It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our loving Mom and Grandma. Preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Linton Wells of Lansing, Michigan, she is survived by her daughters, Kelly (Mark) Wolgamott, Diane Smith, and grandson, Spencer Wolgamott.Nancy graduated from Sexton High School in Lansing and spent over 30 years working at Story Oldsmobile where she enjoyed working in the automotive industry making lifelong friends throughout her tremendous career.Nancy dearly loved her family and lived life to the fullest. The loving impact she made on their lives will never be forgotten and she will be missed. She enjoyed traveling in Michigan and wherever the adventure led. Her friends were an important connection for her whether a neighbor, or a lifetime friend from faraway. Grandson Spencer and her “grand” dogs were the joy and delight of her life. We’ll forever carry her in our hearts.
