Nancy J. Raasch (Bowman) found eternal peace on February 23, 2022 at the age of 71. Nancy was born on January 4, 1951 in Ashland, Wisconsin. She was born into a large family, and preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Elizabeth (Starkman) Bowman. Nancy was a devoted wife to the late Frank Raasch, a proud mother to Jodie Hewitt (Jay), and loving grandmother to Autumn+ and Austin Hewitt. Nancy was a caring sister to John Bowman+, Carol Holevatz+ (Rudy+), Mike Bowman+ (Jackie), Gary Bowman (Judy+), Kathy Koziczkowski (Jim), Jerry McAnulty (Laurie Harris), Deb DeByl (Donald+), Theo Bowman (Heather), and Bill Bowman (Mary). She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Nancy will be fondly remembered by family and friends for her fun-loving personality. In their spare time, Nancy and Frank loved to go camping and fishing in Algoma with the family. They also liked to roll the dice on trips to local and far-away casinos. In early life, Nancy attended Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Nancy worked at Ore-Ida/McCain Foods in various positions until her retirement.
Nancy had a kind heart and an open door, as she always welcomed visits from family and friends. She was a life-long dog lover as well, often doting on Oliver, Ossie+, Oscar+, and Bootsy+. She will be missed by many.
