Nancy J. Pruss, age 73, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018 at the Waterford Memory Care Center.
Nancy was born in Mauston on August 6, 1945 to Allison and Laura (Kotek) Langer. She married Kerry Pruss on January 23, 1965 in Wisconsin Rapids. They were blessed with 53 years of marriage. She was employed by Consolidated Papers Inc for 34 years, working in the Human Resources Department.
Nancy was truly loved and was deeply devoted to her family; she was always there when they needed her. She enjoyed taking family camping trips to Crystal Lake and boating on the river with friends. In her earlier years Nancy enjoyed sewing and made things for the entire family. Nancy also liked going dancing with her husband.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Kerry of Wisconsin Rapids; two children: Pam (Jon) Smekrud of Hampshire, IL and Mark Pruss of Delton MI; three grandchildren: Adam, Ryan Smekrud and Zachary Pruss; father-in-law, Wilbert Pruss of Wisconsin Rapids; and two brothers: Bob (Sally) Langer of Green Bay and David (Linda) Langer of Idaho.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her mother-in-law, Junette Pruss.
