Nancy Holzen, 79, went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2017.  She fought a long battle with pancreatic cancer, knowing that her God was always by her side.

Nancy grew up in Baltimore, where she graduated from Eastern High School and was a proud math major from Wilson College.  She and her family moved to Cocoa Beach in 1968 where the Space Program was an important part of their lives. She later earned her MBA from Stetson College and began her career, first on the administrative staff at Cape Canaveral Hospital and then at Kennedy Space Center working on the Shuttle Program.

Mimi is survived by daughter Karen Herring and her children Nick Herring, Leah Herring and great-grandson Mason Sholes; daughter Susan Rock and her children Jason Schrank, Jackson DeLao and Jordan DeLao; son Kenneth Rock and his children Brian Rock and Michelle Rock; brother Bill Behnke, Jr.; Aunt Virginia Andrews and her daughter Lynne Andrews, numerous cousins, and her faithful companion Kitty-Kat.
