Nancy Grace Hansen, 79, of Palatka, passed from this life on Friday, April 16, 2021, at Haven Hospice Roberts Care Center following an extended illness. Born in Greenport, Long Island, New York, she moved to Palatka in 1980 from Long Island. Years ago, Nancy worked as a barmaid. She was a loving mother and homemaker to her children and dearly loved time spent with her grandchildren. Nancy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Palatka and in her leisure time enjoyed cooking and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Newell, a brother, Billy Newell, her long-time boyfriend, Joe Dionne, and a granddaughter, April Kim Mock.
Nancy is survived by her children, Steven Hansen (Regina) of Satsuma, Brian Hansen, Sr of Long Island, NY, Tim Hansen of Lake Wales, Michelle McClenithan (Haun) of Satsuma, James Hansen, Jeff Hansen, and Johne Hansen (Martha) all of Long Island, NY and Dawn Godfrey (Jim) of Palatka, a sister, Patty Pierce, a brother, James Newell, both of Palatka, 27 Grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
