Nancy Ellen (Kelly) McCarthy, of Plymouth, formerly of Belmont, entered into rest December 10th at B.I.D. Hospital Plymouth. She was the beloved wife for 50+ years of the late Kevin C. McCarthy. She was the loving daughter of the late Daniel and Gertrude (McDermott) Kelly. She was the loving mother of the late Kevin D. and the late Kathleen A. McCarthy and of Susan J. and Maureen A. McCarthy. She was the loving grandmother of Courtney E. and Brianna E. McCarthy and the loving great grandmother of Noah, Savanah and Jace. She is also survived by many dear and devoted friends. Nancy formerly of Belmont, MA and North Scituate, MA lived in Plymouth for the last 47 years. She was an active parishioner and communicant of St. Bonaventure’s Parish. She was a member of the Bonnie Seniors. Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, as well as actively supporting her community. Nancy worked for various daycares and camps for many years while she was raising her children. She also had a subsequent career in records management. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Emmanuel College and her high school diploma from the Boston Notre Dame Academy.
