GREEN, NANCY E. Nancy Ellen Green, age 84, passed away August 18, 2019 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo, MI. Nancy was born June 8, 1935 the daughter of Joseph and Olive (Robbins) Makay. She was a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life and was employed for over 24 years with The Upjohn Company.
On May 5, 1956, she was united in marriage to Richard A. Green, who survives. Also surviving are their three daughters Lynne (Steven) Cronkhite, Sue Ellen (Richard) Huntington, Melissa (David) Shufelt; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; siblings John Makay and Susan Northrup; nieces and nephews.
With grace, courage and strength, Nancy battled against ovarian cancer. She fought to stay with her husband (best friend & soulmate), and her family as long as she possibly could. Her life was her family, her pride and joy. In accordance with Nancy’s wishes cremation has taken place.
