Nancy Elizabeth Derra Nugent
Nancy Elizabeth Derra Nugent, age 67, of Greensboro, GA, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Greensboro. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 7, 1946, the daughter of the late Robert and Adeline Lock Derra. She graduated from Regina Dominican High School in Wilmette, IL and Northern Illinois University, earning a degree in education. After having her children, she became a homemaker. On July 6, 1991 she married John L. “Jack” Nugent and in May of 2007 they moved to Lake Oconee in Greensboro. She was always passionate about childbirth education and was an avid reader.
In addition to her husband, Jack Nugent of Greensboro, GA, Nancy is survived by her children, Ryan Cameron (Lara) of Franklin, TN, Christopher Cameron of Woodstock, GA, Ben Nugent (Melissa) of Gainesville, FL, Sean Cameron (Rachel) of Arlington, TX, Patrick Nugent of Three Rivers, MI, and Meghan Cameron Kane (Mike) of Mt.
