Nancy “Nan” E. Miller age 83 of Midland passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 15, 2013, after a brief illness. The daughter of the late Glen and Doris (Richardson) Stowits was born May 28, 1930, in Midland, MI. She was a lifelong member of the Homer United Methodist Church and enjoyed participating in many church functions including the Holy Walk and peanut brittle sales during the Christmas season. Nan was employed as a Librarian for many years with the Bullock Creek School District. On October 8, 1955, she married Donald R. Miller. He died on February 26, 1989
Nan is survived by sons, Tom (Kate) Miller of Grand Ledge and Doug (Cindy) Miller of Otsego, 4 grandchildren, a sister, Sally (Tad) Roberson, and several nieces, nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law.
In addition to her parents and husband Nan was preceded in death by a brother, Duane Stowits.
