            Nancy Crosten Milliken, age 60, of Westminster, Maryland, died on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family, from Alzheimer’s disease.

            Born March 28, 1956 in Cumberland, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Catherine (Sell) Crosten.  She is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Geary K. Milliken.

            Nancy was very active in her children’s education serving as past president and treasurer of the Winters Mill PTSA.  She also volunteered at Charles Carroll, East Middle, and Winters Mill High; and was a member of the Winters Mill Student Athletic Association.  She was of the Lutheran faith, and was a faithful volunteer with Carroll Lutheran Village and a member of the Friends of the Village.  She was a graduate of Allegany High School in Cumberland, MD class of 1974.  She always enjoyed her time with family and friends, and was a loving mother to her three daughters.

            Surviving her in addition to her husband are daughters, Meghan Milliken of Annapolis, MD, Erin Milliken of Westminster, MD, and Kathryn Milliken of Portland, OR; siblings, Elaine Freedman of Bethel, DE, Lisa Markey of Boca Raton, FL, Edwin Crosten and James Crosten both of Cumberland, MD.  She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Crosten.
