Nancy Cox age 89 of Lake Village, IN, formerly of Roselawn passed away Tuesday November 13, 2012 at the Vibra Hospital in Crown Point.. She was born on November 12, 1923 in Greentown, IN to Thomas and Cuba (Bowman) Smith both deceased.
She attended Roselawn schools. On January 20, 1941 she married Walter Cox and he preceded her in death in 1990. Nancy attended the Roselawn Methodist Church and was a housewife and homemaker.
Nancy is survived by 2 sons, Larry (Juanita) Cox of Momence, IL and Jerry Cox of Lake Village; 2 daughters, Connie Cox of Lake Village and Shirley (Ted) Hoover of Marshall, IN; 2 brothers, Gerald Smith of Lake Village, Tom (Catherine) Smith of East Gary, IN and a sister, Faye Luttrell of Goodland, IN; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 son, 3 daughters, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
