Nancy C. (Paisley) McCabe, 92, a lifelong resident of Manchester and widow of Richard L. McCabe, died Thursday, May 26, 2016 in Manchester after an extended illness.
Nancy was born in Waltham, MA on February 29, 1924, daughter of Charles and Mildred (Johnson) Paisley. She attended local schools, was a 1942 graduate of Manchester High School, and earned an Associates Degree in 1944 from the former Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. Nancy worked at the Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Company, for General Electric, and retired in 1992 from the Spectrascan Imaging Corporation in Windsor. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Manchester Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Robert Ahnert of Himrod, NY, her grandson, Eric Bjorkland of Vernon, her cousin, Robert Harrison and his daughter Beth Heard, both of Manchester, and several other nieces and nephews.
