Nancy Ann Sims Blackmon of Winder, GA, passed peacefully on June 28, 2021, at the age of 73.
Ms. Blackmon was born on August 14, 1947, in Atlanta, GA.
She spent her early years as a resident of Monroe, GA. Nancy retired in 2008 after 26 years of service with the University of Georgia. After her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her two daughters, Regina and Kimberly Montgomery (Theo Cooper) both of Winder, GA; brothers, Jimmy Sims (Jeanne) and David Sims both of Monroe, GA; six grandchildren, Todd & Shantel Schexnayder, JR & Brittini Wright, and Jacob & Kayla Kaufman; nine great-grandchildren, Braylee, Mason, Gracie, Lucas, Emma, Alex, Charlie, Lawson, and Zachary.
