Nancy A. Kemp, 83, of Huntington passed away at 7:35 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Heritage of Huntington. Mrs. Kemp was born August 19, 1928 in Huntington, Indiana to Cecil and Lucille Reynolds Everett. Her parents preceded her in death. She married Kenneth H. Kemp on October 28, 1961. He preceded her in death on July 21, 1997. Mrs. Kemp graduated from Huntington High School. She attended Huntington College and received a bachelor degree from Indiana University. She worked as an Accountant at Lincoln Life and was also a homemaker.
She was a life-long member of First Presbyterian Church and served as a Deacon there. She was a member of Psi Iota Sorority and the High School Booster club, served as a Brownie Leader and played in a Bridge Club. Survivors include: One son: Steven E. Kemp, North Webster, IN, and One daughter: Lisa C. (Boyd) Doll, Huntington, IN. Four grandchildren: Kristen M. Williams, Keiffer L. Williams, Samantha N. Doll and Jack K. Doll, and one great-grandchild: Eli M. Betz.
