Mr. Na’im E. Shumpert-Williams of Tampa, FL went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 23, 2021.
Na’im committed his life to the Lord at an early age and was baptized on September 3, 2017.
Na’im recently graduated from Tumai Homeschool Academy where he was homeschooled for all his schooling. He was a member of the Tampa Firefighter Explorer program and formerly a member of the Orlando Firefighter Explorer program which fostered his dream of having a career as a firefighter. He also loved expressing himself through spoken word and poetry.
Na’im was preceded in death by his grandmother, Viola McDuffie.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving and devoted parents, John W. Williams and Regina A. Shumpert-Williams; brothers, Joshua S. Shumpert-Williams and E. Jamal Shumpert-Williams; grandmother, Della N. Gaddie; aunts, Ericka D. Shumpert and Tammara Williams-Dias; uncle, Darryl A. McDuffie (Kristen); many cousins and friends, and our dog, “Prince Colin KaePAWnick”, whom Na’im spoiled immensely.
