Mrs. Nadine Gentry Cheek, 90, of Senoia passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at Doctor’s Hospice in Fayetteville. She was born March 14, 1924 in Early County, GA to the late Junius Gentry & Pearl Sprouse Gentry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin A. Cheek. Mrs. Cheek was a lifelong member of Senoia United Methodist Church and worked as a secretary for East Coweta High School from 1960 to 1984.

Survivors include daughters, Karen C. Tinsley of Newnan, Peggy Adams of Senoia, Betty Jo Butcher of Senoia; son, Ronald Cheek & wife Kitty of Senoia; grandchildren, Guy Wood, Lee Tinsley Butcher & husband Andy, Geoff Tinsley & wife Angela, Jennie Williams, Samantha Adams Chapman & husband Dorian, Lauren Cheek Plemmons & husband Jason; great-grandchildren, Dakotah Wood, Jeffrey Aaron Butcher, Elizabeth Jo Tinsley, Jerry Lee “Cub” Tinsley, Morgen Chapman, Wyatt Chapman; sister, Mabel Gentry Craft.
