MYRTLE MAE BOLYARD, age 72, of Monroe Street, Grafton, passed away Friday, November 26, 2010, at Grafton City Hospital. She was born in Grafton, November 7, 1938, a daughter of the late Clyde W. and Addabell (Sloan) Biddle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan M. Bolyard, July 10, 1964. Mrs. Bolyard worked as a cook at the Capri Pizza Parlor and the Tygart Lake Lodge where she also enjoyed decorating for the holidays. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Clarksburg Post #13, a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Taylor County Post #3081. Surviving are: three children, Wanda M. (Bolyard) Schmuck and husband Dave, of Grafton, Donald R. Bolyard and wife Beth, of Galloway, and Charles F. Bolyard and wife Sarah, of Romney; sixteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren; one sister Pauline Gerrard and husband Jack, of Clarksburg; one brother John Biddle, of Grafton; special friend and caregiver, her Hospice nurse Tara Austin; and two special boys, Andrew and Matthew Shaffer. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by: one daughter, Lola N. (Bolyard) Wyatt in February 2007; four brothers, Kenneth, Raymond, Paul, and Clyde “Duke” Biddle.
