Myrtle Louise Smith, 82 of Newburg, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital with family by her side. She was born April 4, 1933 in Newburg, daughter of the late Truman William and Drusy Myrle Molisee Bolyard. Myrtle was a homemaker, loved quilting, gardening and the outdoors, day drives through the mountains, and spending time with the family. Myrtle is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Charles Warren Smith; three children, Raymond Bell and Rose, Newburg, Pamela Bell, OH, Charles Smith Jr and Tina, Tunnelton; seven grandchildren, Cassie Plum and Brian, Tunnelton, Amanda Miller, OH, Ashley Bell and Justin, Newburg, Daphne Stemple, OH, Greg Bell, and Julie, Newburg, Michael Stemple, OH, Cameron Smith, Tunnelton; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Terry Bolyard and Marilyn, MI; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Myrtle is preceded in death by three brothers, Truman, Charles and William Bolyard; four sisters, Mary Bolyard, Ellen Carrico, Lorain Stewart and Marilyn Bell.
