Myrtie Verlean (Curtis) Noles passed peacefully (Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center.) from complications of pneumonia on May 02, 2014 at 12:55 am with her daughter at her bedside.
She is preceded in death by her husband Floyd Andrew Noles of Birmingham, AL and her parents, Dayton and Maudie (Gober) Curtis of Nauvoo, AL, her eldest brother and sister-in-law, James Cecil and Dimple Curtis of Eight Mile, AL and her sister- in-law, Yvonne DeRush (Irving Hubert) Curtis of Jasper, AL.
She leaves behind her daughter, Betty June (Noles) Patton,
two Grandchildren, Wendy (Patton Fallon) Ballasch (Tom) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, Christopher Patton(Kathy Hess) of Mary Esther, FL, four Great-granddaughters, Kierstyn and Brianna Fallon of Ft. Walton Beach/Tampa, FL, Makayla Patton of Mary Esther, FL and Juliann June Patton of Dothan, AL. She is survived by her brothers, Dalton Edwin Curtis (Lorraine) of Lewiston, MI, Irving Hubert Curtis of Jasper, AL and her sister, Ivadean (Roy) Massey of Nauvoo, AL.
She left behind many beloved nephews and nieces from around the country and many longtime friends and relatives in Alabama and Florida.
Her daughter, grand-children and great-granddaughters who will have an empty place in their lives, know she has gone to a better place and was met at the gates of Heaven by her Loved Ones…and will wait until the time to meet us…She is at peace in the world of tomorrow…forever.
