Myron “Mike” Statkiewicz, age 76, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at his home in Newnan surrounded by family. He was born March 10, 1939 in Middletown, CT to the late Michael Myron Statkiewicz and Bernice Margaret Statkiewicz.
Along with his parents Mike is preceded in death by his son Michael Statkiewicz. He is survived by longtime friend and caregiver Gladys Mae Roberts, daughter Donna Lowe, step children Ann (Ted) Stratton, Gwen (David) Waksman, Buddy Schmelz Jr., Jimmy Schmelz, Judy Smith, Billy (Rena) Schmelz, Paul Schmelz and David Schmelz.
He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and brother Stanley Statkiewicz.
