Myron LaVerne Brummet, 70, Anderson, passed away January 22, 2009 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus-Anderson after a brief illness. He was born September 5, 1938 in Anderson, Indiana, and resided in Madison County all of his life.
LaVerne was a graduate of Pendleton High School. He served his country in the National Guard. LaVerne retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 26 years of service.
He is survived by his wife whom he married July 25, 1969, Vickie Rood Brummet; children, Bradley A. Judy Brummet of Greenwood, Michael L. Cyndi Brummet of Pendleton, Leland P. LeAnn Brummet of Anderson and Michelle R. Ray Brunner of Anderson; brother, Carroll Helen Morgan of Greenfield; grandchildren, Todd, Christopher, Hailey, Phillip, Meghan, Montanna, Savanna, Denay and Tommy; one great grandchild, Jade; three nieces and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil & Velma Foreman Brummet and his brother, Wyrneth Brummet.
