Myron was born August 11, 1941 in Newark, New York. He worked at Mobil Chemical for 14 years and felt privileged to work for D. Thomas and Assoc. for 23 years in Kansas City.
Myron’s battle with cancer was met with determination, courage and faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He never met a stranger and will be missed by many.
Myron will be missed by his loving bride of 37 years, Jackie Matthews DeCann; son Michael whom he was very proud and his wife Kim of Lenexa, KA; grandchildren who lit up his life, Nicholas and Alex; mother Elizabeth Colacino of Charlotte, NC; brother Richard DeCann and his wife June of Charlotte, NC; step-brother, Bernard Colacino Jr. and his wife Mary Kay of Newark; many nieces, nephews,cousins and in-laws.
The family was assisted by McGilley Memorial Chapels in Kansas City, Missouri.
