Myrna R Frisby
Myrna Rae Allen Frisby was released from this life, 14, January 2012, after, a twelve year battle with Alzheimer’s.
Myrna was born, August 30, 1939 in Nampa, ID, to Clyde and Beulah Allen. She grew up in Vale, OR with her four siblings. It was there on their farm that she developed her love of horseback riding and animals. She later met and married her husband, Weston Frisby also from Vale. They wed on October 31, 1956, Later they were sealed in the Idaho Falls temple. Together they raised seven children.
Myrna and Weston loved children, babies as well as teens. Whatever activity their children or grandchildren chose, Myrna and Weston were there cheering them on.
She retired after 30 years of working at Simplot’s, where she was well known for her strong work ethic. She treasured friendships made there.
Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, brother Earl, brother-in-law Chuck Palmer, and three grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband Weston, sisters Marlene (Harold) Rosen, Vella Palmer, brother Dale (Darlene) Allen, Sister-in-law Karma (Lysle) Willden, Dian (Lyle) Buhler, and Claudia (Andy) Anderson. Children, Lori (Budd) Hurd, Loni (Tony) Christensen, Rod (Maureen) Frisby, Kim Sutton, Shawn (Angela) Frisby, Dawn (Nate) Benjamin and Wade (Shelley) Frisby, 29 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
