Myrna J. Thompson “Maxiskawinga”, age 80, of Wisconsin Rapids (Town of Cranmoor), passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at her residence.
Myrna was born January 26, 1941 in Wisconsin Rapids to Lindley Thompson Sr. and Helen Lincoln.
She served her country in the United States Marine Corps.
Myrna enjoyed going to the casino and watching her granddaughters dance at Pow-Wows. She also enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and playing Candy Crush.
Myrna is survived by four children: Cheryl Brinegar, Darren (Maria) Brinegar, Dodie (Lori) Topping, and Eugene Topping Jr.; grandchildren: Joshua Smith Sr., Jesse Smith, Mycaela (Adam) Damrau, Heleyna Brinegar, Stephen Brinegar, Gabriella Brinegar, Reyna Brinegar, Lorena Brinegar, Imanuel Brinegar, and Trestian Brinegar; great-grandchildren: Joshua Smith Jr., Bailey Smith, McKenzy Smith, Ryott Smith, Jaxx Smith, and Macy Smith; brother, Ed Cloud; and sister, Carolyn Herman; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings: Joan Thompson, Timothy Thompson, and Lindley Thompson Jr; and grandson, Jeremy Smith.
Family would like to thank the staff at Heartland Hospice and Ho-Chunk Nation nurse Charlie for the excellent care they provided.
