Myrna Hadaway Blethen, age 83 years, of Manomet, died Sunday, June 6, 2021 at her home. She was the wife of the late Clifford Blethen, and the daughter of the late Harold A. and Edith (White) Hadaway. Born on October 13, 1937 in Plymouth, Myrna was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School, and worked many years in the Manomet Post Office. She and her husband enjoyed many happy years fishing, boating and spending time with family in Maine. Se enjoyed sewing, quilting and tooled leatherwork with her beautiful crafts. She was also generous with her time planning reunions for her classmates. She was well-known for her knowledge of the history of Manomet and was one of the last students to be educated in the historic schoolhouse on Brook Road. She is survived by her son Kent Blethen of Manomet, her grandchildren Daniel Blethen of Manomet and Julie Blethen of Plymouth, her sister Donna Seymour Bunce of Corinth, Maine, her niece and nephew Laura Coppola and Dylan Pallai. She was the loving mother of the late Dale Blethen and the sister of the late Harold Hadaway.
