Mrs. Myra Stephens Bailey Mrs. Myra Stephens Bailey, 91, of Senoia passed away in her home surrounded by her family and friends on Sept. 28, 2011. She was born on April 20, 1920, to the late C.C. and Lillian L. Stephens. She married Warren Bailey on June 5, 1942. Many will remember she and her husband hosted the Teen Club sponsored by American Legion 174 in the 1960’s. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and was an accomplished quilter. She is preceded in death by her husband, her sister Jewel Stephens Batchelor, her brother Ernest Stephens and sister-in-law Virginia B. Fine. Survivors include her daughter Ann Bailey; sons Jim Bailey and his wife Martha, Charles Bailey and his wife Sherry, and Joe Bailey and his wife Carol; grandchildren Stephen Bailey and his wife Leah, Bo Bailey and his wife Sarah, Brittney Thrasher and her husband Tyler, Brandon Bailey and his wife Kelly, Brooke Bailey, Lindsay Wood and John Wood; as well as six great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and close friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Earlene Stevenson and Pricilla Thompson for caring for Mrs. Bailey in her home over the past year.
