The lovely Sun Cole was taken into the hands of our Lord on 30 March, 2013, from the Cocoa Beach home she shared with her husband and lifelong partner, George. She valiantly fought a battle with pancreatic cancer for 5 ½ years, before it completely ravaged her body. Born in Seoul, South Korea on January 3, 1954, Sun married George on December 27, 1973. Sun loved everyone and was loved by all. She devoted her life to child development, culminating at the Patrick AFB Child Development Center. Throughout her 31 year career, she taught all ages of children, but always came back to her 2 year-old toddler favorites. She used to say she could see a part of herself growing in every one of them at such impressionable age. She is survived by her loving husband George, daughter Michelle B. Belson, Rockledge, FL, daughter Rachel A. Pigg, Sanford, FL, and son Thomas G. Cole, Daytona Beach, FL, in addition to grandchildren Audrey Belson, Brenna Belson, Jacob Belson, Alexandria Pig, Olivia Pigg, and Isabella Pigg. Her father, Kim Joung Oun still resides in Seoul. Her surviving siblings include sisters: Myong Sook Kim, in Seoul, Korea, Myong Ok Kim, In Tokyo, Japan, and brother Sung Tae Kim, in Seoul, Korea. She was preceded in death by her mother No Sun Ho, and brother, Suk Tae Kim.
