Myles Gregory Papas, 61
On Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville, Alabama, Myles Gregory Papas, loving partner, father and brother passed away peacefully, he had recently experienced a period of increasingly failing health. Myles left this world surrounded by the love of his partner, the love of his life, Amy Walz, his loving daughter, Sandy Papas King-Williams (Jon), his sister Sandy Papas-Summers (Dave), his step-daughter Amanda Chenh (Chris) and his stepson Matthew Harris. Myles is also survived by his grandson (O’baby), Caleb Harris, who called Myles, Opa.

Myles was born on February 27, 1959 in Brockton, Massachusetts, to George R. Papas and Carole A. (Bumpus) Papas

Myles was a veteran of the United States Army, who served in Germany. He learned computer programming at the dawn of the internet and spent his years building websites and a chat network, during a time he was told it couldn’t be done. His intellect and ability were highly valued but lovingly and jokingly referred to as “a head full of useless knowledge”.

He loved to debate all subjects and always missed his father as they would debate for hours, even if on an agreeing point.

He referred to his childhood as the perfect childhood and loved his family thoroughly, with his whole heart.

Myles was preceded in death by his parents, George R. Papas and Carole A. (Bumpus) Papas and his grandchildren Ellie and Oliver Chenh.

We will hold a Life Celebration Party in the spring in his hometown and place of his birth Brockton Massachusetts.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
