Myles Clough, 86, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

Myles was born on July 20, 1936 in Chanute, Kansas. When he was very young, his family moved to Idaho. He graduated from Nampa High School in 1954 and then served four years in the Air Force. In 1961, he began working as a mechanic at Bunny Buick in Caldwell, where he met Roberta Rusaw. They married in May of 1962 and spent 60 years together, raising a son (Steve) and a daughter (Crystal).

Myles enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, riding his snowmobile and motorcycle, and going out for pizza with his family and friends. He always doted on the dogs he owned over the years. He worked as a mechanic for various car dealerships, specializing in installing air conditioners. Later, he was self-employed. He owned and drove a Kenworth semi tractor-trailer for several years. Then he owned an automotive repair shop in Garden City, G & M Automotive. He could diagnose a car problem over the phone. In addition to cars, he had a knack for problem solving and was able to fix just about anything.

Myles was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Clough and Barbara (Schmid) Clough, nephew Dwayne Caldwell, and brother-in-law Arthur Lundblad. He is survived by his wife, Roberta; his children Steve Clough (wife Tammy) and Crystal Lorch (husband John); grandchildren Chelsea Clough (fiancé Chris Roberts), BreAnna Temple, Carolyn Lorch, and Rob Lorch; sisters Sandra Caldwell (husband Don) and Aletha Lundblad; sister-in-law Margaret Youree (husband Gene); nephews and nieces Donald Caldwell (wife Julie), Barney Youree (wife Tonya), Cori Kinney (husband James), and Doug Caldwell (wife Dani); as well as other relatives and friends.

We are grateful for the many wonderful friendships which have lasted through the years. We will always remember how he loved to tease and how much he enjoyed his gum drops.
