On November 16, 2015, our loving mother and grandmother passed away peacefully at Pattie House in Boise where she has been tenderly cared for the last 4 ½ years. Muriel was born March 17, 1920 in Seattle, Washington, the daughter of William and Dorothy Forbes. She was one of seven children, all of whom grew up in Western Washington. She met and married Daniel Sweeney, her husband of 53 years and together they raised four children.
Muriel enjoyed family life and homemaking and she loved reading, and music as well as rose gardens and birds.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sisters, Dorothy, Betty, Hazel and Mary; brothers, Clyde and Ernie; son, Pete; as well as two of her grandsons.
