Ms. Muriel Kelley
(Burns), 78, passed away peacefully in her home in North Arlington on Friday November 27 2009.
Muriel Kelley was born in Kearny and lived there until moving to North Arlington 49 years ago.
Ms. Kelley was employed as a school nurse for the Passaic Board of Education in school #10 for 25 years. She retired 12 years ago. She graduated from Jersey City Medical Center School of Nursing and then earned her Bachelors Degree in nursing from Jersey City State College in 1972. She was a member of the North Arlington Seniors, and a member of the Harmony Circle of Grace United Methodist Church in Kearny. She was also a member of the Jersey City Medical Center School of Nursing Alumni.
Muriel is survived by her children Kathy L Iantosca (Charlie) Thomas E. Sr, David C. (Lynn) and Michael (Kathie). She was the grandmother of Quinn, Molly, Miles, Michael Jr., Shaun, Brian and Meghan. She was predeceased by her grandson Thomas E. Kelley, Jr. in 2002.
