Victor M. Mueller, 75, of Albers, died Friday, January 11, 2008 at Elmwood Nursing Home in Maryville. He was born November 6, 1932 in Breese son of Frank and Christine (Schulte) Mueller. He married Eleanora J. Kennett on June 13, 1952 at Ft. Riley, KS and she survives in Albers.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Victoria S. Ernst and husband William of Albers; one son, Charles W. Winkelman and wife Emily of Bull Head City, AZ; one brother, Paul A. Mueller and wife Natalie of Hillsboro; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Daniel and Viola Kennett, Virginia Logsdon, Woodrow “Woody” LaCaze, and Adele Kennett all of Albers, Virginia Kennett of New Baden; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Eugene Mueller, Sr.; three sisters, Catherine Winkelman, Henrietta Peltes-Kahrhoff and Lenora Holley; three nephews, James Winkelman, Ronald Mueller and Eugene Mueller, Jr.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Max Winkelman, Helen Mueller, Ben Peltes, August Kahrhoff, Raymond Holley, John Logsdon, Margaret LaCaze, Charles Kennett, Franklin “Booby” Kennett, and Eileen Kennett.

Mr. Mueller was a master carpenter and worked with various contractors. He also made custom cabinets. He was a Korean Era veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of St. Bernard Parish in Albers, the American Legion Post 1026 in Albers, the Trenton VFW Post 7983 and Carpenters Local 480 in Freeburg.
