Phyllis H. Coffey, 64, life long resident of Milford, longtime companion for 21 years of Joseph F. Turechek, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 20, 2010. Daughter of the late Phillip and Eleanor Phillips Hutt, she was born on March 2, 1946 in Milford. Phyllis was employed as an office manager at Carrier Transicold of Southern New England for twenty years and was also the secretary to the Director of Adult Education at Foran High School for eight years.
In addition to Joseph, Phyllis is survived by two sons James A. Coffey and Michael P. Coffey both of Milford. Two sisters Meridee A. Dornoff and her husband Larry of Champaign, IL and Patricia E. Hutt and the late William Sloan of New York City. Two nieces Sharon Dornoff of Allentown, PA and Janet Dornoff of Wheeling, IL. Four step children Allen Turechek, Donna Vezina, Jennifer Garcia (Tony) and Melissa Turechek (Tim Walkley). Ten grandchildren Allen Jr., Kyle, Samatha, Brittney, Morgan, Maya, Alex, Emilio, Mackenzie and Jacob. As well as many beloved friends.
