Patricia “Irene” Kent, 70, of Tallahassee, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2021, at PruittHealth Southwood.
A daughter of Melvin Thomas Kent and Hesta Iris Hand Kent, of blessed memory, she was born in Marianna, Florida on March 30, 1951. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Calvin John Kent, Thomas Kent, Ron Earl Kent and Lorraine Iris Kent.
Survivors include her children, Melvin Dexter Stovall (Linda Coleman) and Salina Roe (husband, Robert); grandchildren, Shawna Dorsey, Amanda Roe, Gunner Roe and Ariel Roe; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A bookkeeper for many years, she was also a published poet, sold Tupperware in her earlier years, was a hairdresser and cosmetologist, enjoyed crocheting, dancing, was a very social person, and up until recently, was a member of The Moose Lodge.
