Patricia A. Palmer, 74,of Salem, Illinois passed away peacefully, December 24, 2021 at Salem Township Hospital. Born January 16, 1947 in Kaymore, West Virginia, she was the daughter of James H. and Trusby Ellen (JKelley) Wood who preceded her in death. A homemaker, she loved her children, grandchildren, gardening and working in her yard, flower gardening and her doggies.
She was married to LaRell Glenn Palmer who preceded her in death. Surviving are her children Johnny Negron (Michele Moritz) of Lake Wales, FL, Jody Wood, Lake Zurich, IL, her granddaughter Dawn Wood, and great granddaughter Samantha Hall whom she raised as her children both of Salem. She is also survived by her siblings Charles Wood of Salem, IL, Johnny Wood of Michigan, and Linda LeDesma (Andrew Florczyk) of Chicago, along with several other grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a dear friend, Patsy Crippen of Salem, IL. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Manuel Scott Wood.
