Ms. Mary Ruth Waites Duffee, age 90, of Valley passed away on Sunday, June 25th, 2017 at the EAMC Lanier Nursing Home.
Ms. Duffee was born in Clay County, Alabama on April 18th, 1927 to the late Willie Ogle and Gertrude Hale Ogle. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ann Adamson; siblings, Joe Ogle, Elmer Ogle, Hughie Lee Ogle, and Lilly Mae Ogle.
Ms. Duffee was retired from the spinning room at West Point Pepperell.
She was of the Baptist faith.
She loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great- grandchildren.
She loved to spend time at the lake fishing, working in her garden, and was a fan of real country music.
Ms. Duffee is survived by her two sons and their wives, J.B. (Faye) Waites, Jr., Charles (Nancy) Waites, all of Valley; brothers, Charles Ogle, Grady Ogle, both of Valley; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren.
