Mary JoAnn Hadland, 80, died Friday, March 17, 2017, at the Hospice Family House in Tallahassee, Florida. She is a native of Wakulla County, born in the precinct of Smith Creek in April of 1936.
JoAnn enjoyed a career with the State of Florida, Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, from which she retired. Her greatest hobby was researching and documenting family history. Over many years, she enjoyed participating in regular meetings of the Wakulla County Historical Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm Eugene Roberts and Alma Doris McKenzie. Survivors include her four children, (Bruce, Michael, Gary and Pam), six grandchildren, (David, Ray, Christopher, Russell, Daniel and Brett), five great-grandchildren, (Malcolm, Johnathon, Colton, Mia and Korah) and two brothers, (Eugene and Larry).
