Ms. Mary Ann Martin was born March 9, 1951 to the late Mr. Johnny Martin and Anna Nunn Martin, later adopted by the late Mrs. Josephine Mikel Anderson. She was preceded in death by five adopted siblings. Mary gained her wings on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Jesup, Georgia. She was a nanny to many children. She attended Liberty County High School. Mary leaves to cherish her memories, one loving son, Ronald Gene Martin; one adopted brother, William Jackson; seven sisters, Leavergis Lewis of St Petersburg, Fla., Doris Kirkwood, Jeri Chatman, Ellen Lamar, Deloris Roberts, Shirley Mikel all of Hinesville, Ga., Benda (Larry) Baker of Walthourville, Ga.; grandchildren, Ronald D. Martin, Kadijah Martin, Rondaz Martin, LaShay Martin, Demarcus Martin, Dwayne Martin; one stepson, Joseph Palmer aka (Jody B)and special friends Joseph Palmer aka (Joe Black) Elise Delasbour; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
