Martha Elizabeth Latimore, 94, of Tallahassee, Florida, transitioned to eternal life on January 21, 2022, while surrounded by her loving family. A daughter of Hodges Latimore and Bina Thompson Latimore, of blessed memory, she was born in Laurens, South Carolina on July 2, 1927.
She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Hattie, Mattie, Barbara, Nell, Ella, Mamie, Charles, Richard, John, JD and Baby Boy Latimore. A resident of Tallahassee for 25 years, she moved from Greenville, South Carolina to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. She had a career in the textile industry and was a devout parishioner at The Co-Cathedral of St. Thomas More. She was a very talented and excellent seamstress and interior designer. But most importantly, her family and grandchildren were the love of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Valeria Robinson (husband, Carey); grandchildren, Olivia Elizabeth Grice (husband, Vincent), John Robinson and Lowell Robinson; brother, Paul Latimore; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
