Cassetta leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Barbara Jean Gear (Chapel Hill, NC); her father and step-mother, James Gear (Kunita Gear of St. Louis, MO); one daughter, Michelle Angelique and two sons, Benjamin James and Marcus Jerrell (all of the home); two sisters, Jennifer Reliford (Chapel Hill, NC) and Jewel Gear (Alexandria, VA), one brother, Benjamin Gear (Chapel Hill, NC), an “adopted” sister, Jacqueline Brewington (Fayetteville, NC) and an ‘adopted’ grandmother, Marjorie Hampton (Springfield Gardens, NY). She also leaves 14 aunts, 13 uncles, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, and an even greater host of friends, co-workers, and fellow-saints. Her life is an example of service, caring, and concern for others, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
