Jeraldine Wright was born on September 10, 1962, in Jesup Georgia to the late Gordon Lee Howard Jr and Corine Howard. She was educated in the Wayne County school system. While growing up, she learned to cook by watching her grandmother Ethel “Honey” Howard. After high school she continued working towards her cooking goals. From the early 1980s until her transition, she was one of the best cooks in the community. Over the years, she was seeked out by many local restaurants for employment due to her cooking skills. Her family and friends also loved her cooking. On any given day she would have lots of people at her house waiting to enjoy some of her good cooking. Jeraldine also enjoyed playing softball and fishing with her father. She also kept up with latest music and dances. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all whom knew her.
