Jacqueline Brown Howard was born June 5, 1944, in Jesup, GA, to the late Mr. Willie Lester Brown and Mrs. Estella Buggs Brown.
Jacqueline lost her Mother Estella at age 4. Her Grandparents raised her, the late Reverend Henry Buggs and Mrs.
She received her early education at Wayne County Training School, graduating at age 15. Jacqueline later moved to Atlanta and attended Morris Brown College. While attending Morris Brown College, she was elected by her peers and crowned Miss Grant Hall. She also pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. She was a Golden Member of AKA Sorority, Inc., Gamma Gamma Chapter, and the Tau Epsilon Omega Chapter. She was a champion for civil rights and participated in a number of causes.
Jacqueline is survived by her son Mr. Warith “Gil” Niallah, and Mrs. Regina Witherspoon Niallah, and her Aunt Evelyn Royal Buggs (Spouse William A. “Mens” Buggs, Sr.).
Two special family members, Ms. Mary Ruth Merritt (Matriarch) and Reverend George O. Stewart (Patriarch)
She was “Big Sister” to Cousins, the late Mr. Henry Jessie Smith, Sr., the late Mr. William A. “Mickey” Buggs, Jr., and Mr. Thaddius Leroy Buggs, Sr.
She has a lasting impact on the lives of many family and friends.
